REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION:
Does city council support entering into an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) between the city and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) for reimbursement of costs associated with the installation of a pedestrian activated crossing/traffic light in both directions of Federal Boulevard at Berry Avenue?

The rate of reimbursement for the installation of the pedestrian activated crossing/traffic light in both directions of Federal Boulevard at Berry Avenue will be $120,000 $108,000. All work will be in compliance with ADA requirements.

The City of Littleton Transportation Engineering staff has determined the intersection of Federal Boulevard and Berry Avenue is in need of improvements for pedestrian safety.
