PURPOSE:
To discuss the historic preservation regulations in the June 7, 2021 draft ULUC and make any final recommendations to the city's consultant, Kendig Keast Collaborative (KKC).

SUMMARY:
HPB will discuss historic preservation regulations in the June 7, 2021 draft ULUC with direction to staff to be forwarded to KKC.
PRIOR ACTIONS OR DISCUSSIONS:
November 16, 2020 HPB Meeting
HPB established a group of historic preservation codes, including the State Model Code, to inform the historic preservation code update.
December 21, 2020 HPB Meeting
HPB provided direction to staff regarding the regulations for designating historic landmarks and districts to be considered for inclusion in the draft historic preservation code.
February 17, 2021 HPB Meeting
HPB provided direction to staff regarding the regulations for alterations to designated historic properties to be considered for inclusion in the draft historic preservation.
March 18, 2021 HPB Meeting
HPB provided direction to staff regarding provisions for the Littleton Legacy List.
June 21, 2021 HPB Meeting

ANALYSIS:
Staff Analysis
The comment period on the June 7, 2021 ULUC public draft ends July 31, 2021. HPB has one final opportunity to provide comments as a board to be forwarded to KKC. HPB board members may also make comments in the draft ULUC located on the Envision Littleton website Commenting on the ULUC (encodeplus.com).
HPB board members have the opportunity to request discussion on any section of code at this meeting.
