PURPOSE:
Does city council support approval of amending the council liaison assignments to the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) Board, Arapahoe County Transportation Forum, Littleton Arts and Culture Commission, Fine Arts Board, South Suburban Parks and Recreation (SSPR) Subcommittee, and Regional Transportation District (RTD) Local Governmental meetings?

SUMMARY:
When Karina Elrod vacated her at-large position on city council in May 2021, six liaison vacancies were created. Mayor Jerry Valdes will be assigned as the liaison to the DRCOG Board and Council Member Grove will remain the second liaison. On the Arapahoe County Transportation Forum, Council Member Grove will be assigned as the new liaison and Keith Reester, Public Works and Utilities Director, will be assigned as the alternate staff member liaison. Council Member Rudnicki will be assigned as the liaison on the Littleton Arts and Culture Commission. Council Member Milliman will be assigned as the liaison on the Fine Arts Board and as alternate liaison on the SSPR Subcommittee. Keith Reester will be assigned as the new staff member liaison to the RTD Local Government meetings.

PRIOR ACTIONS OR DISCUSSIONS:
Council originally appointed 2020-2021 liaisons during the December 17, 2019 council meeting and amended the appointments during the April 7, 2020 council meeting.
