PURPOSE:
The joint leadership study session will review refinements made to the Comprehensive and Transportation Master Plans (TMP) following public comment and joint leadership feedback. This will be the last review of the final documents before planning commission holds a public hearing to consider its recommendation for adoption on October 14 and city council holds a public hearing to consider adoption on October 15, 2019.

SUMMARY:
The Comprehensive Plan and TMP resulted from an 18-month planning and community engagement process. The last 18-months included over 8,300 in-person conversations, over 70,000 electronic communications, over 45,000 total social media impressions (how many times Envision Littleton content was displayed to users), and 261 events. This community input has been the foundation for the final plans.

PRIOR ACTIONS OR DISCUSSIONS:
This is the seventh and final joint leadership session to discuss the update of the city's Comprehensive Plan and the creation of a first-ever TMP. Once public comment began on August 8 with the release of the draft plans, Envision Littleton entered the final phase, phase five - Draft Plans and Adoption.

The September 10 joint leadership session focused on the fiscal impact and implementation of Envision Littleton's 20 year vision for the city's future land-use and transportation infrastructure as part of phase four of the overall Envision Littleton process.
