SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Comprehensive Plan discussion is to provide the Historical Preservation Board with an update on the progress of the Comprehensive Plan and an opportunity to provide input on the Future Land Use and Character Map and the future boundary of downtown.

PRIOR ACTIONS OR DISCUSSIONS:

May 31, 2018 Kendig Keast Team met with members of HPB for input on the unifying vision and guiding principles.

January, 2019 HPB members Chair Mike Price and Pam Grove were appointed to the Community Coordinating Committee (CCC).

Note: The CCC acts as a guiding body for the Comprehensive Plan and Transportation Master Plan. Individually, members are ambassadors for Envision Littleton and help guide the process with stakeholders throughout the City of Littleton.

Staff Analysis
Envision Littleton is on schedule with the Future City scenarios for both land use and transportation.

The 100% draft of the future land use and character map has been prepared and TischlerBise (sub-consultant to KKC) will kick-off the fiscal impact analysis. This analysis will shed light on Phase 4 of the project which includes the strategies and implementation plan for both the Comprehensive and Transportation Master Plans.

Envision Littleton is a little more than halfway through community engagement activities for the Future City Phase; the largest events are planned for August to prepare the community for the draft documents as well as promote the chance to provide feedback from August 14 through September 16.
