Body

Presented By:
Andrea Mimnaugh, Historic Preservation Planner

History Colorado has referred the nomination of the Littleton Post Office to the National Register to the city for review. The nomination was prepared by Gail Keeley, President of Historic Littleton, Inc. (HLI), Rick Cronenberger, HLI member, and Sonya Ellingboe, HLI Secretary. Rick Cronenberger will attend tonight's meeting and be available for questions from HPB.

Staff secured an extension to the 45-day referral due date with the preservation officer at the post office to provide an opportunity for the board to comment and consider its support for the nomination.

A draft letter has been prepared for the HPB chair to sign endorsing the nomination. It is attached to this communication. If HPB votes to approve the endorsement, the letter will be forwarded, along with Councilman Schlachter's comments, to Daniel Delahaye, Preservation Officer for the US Postal Service on February 28, 2019.
