Recognition of Bobbie Sheffield as Guest Citizen
Body

Presented By:
Debbie Brinkman, Mayor

This evening the Littleton City Council is pleased to recognize Bobbie Sheffield as a Guest Citizen for her tireless work on behalf of parks and open spaces.

Bobbie is a founding member of the South Metro Land Conservancy and has served on its board of directors since its inception in 1993. After 25 years of passionate service on the South Metro Land Conservancy, Bobbie is stepping aside. She and her husband Wayne have lived in Littleton for 39 years and just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. With three children, seven grandchildren and a great granddaughter, Bobbie says for them to have a place to imagine, play, or just relax and dream is so important to her. She said, "When my world is crazy, I go to an open space to set it right again. I find peace, comfort and serenity there seeing what God has provided."

The Littleton City Council extends its sincere appreciation to Bobbie for her dedication acquiring, preserving and enhancing the beautiful open spaces in Littleton. There is no do...
