REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION:
Staff is requesting council input and feedback on the Envision Littleton draft vision and guiding principles.

BACKGROUND:
Envision Littleton is a community-driven process to develop a unifying vision and set of guiding principles for Littleton that will directly inform the City's plans for the next 10-20 years. Envision Littleton imagines the future of the city; listening to the shared values of residents and visitors, understanding why people love Littleton, and identifying the shared direction for the future. This vision is the initial step in a larger process to update the city's comprehensive plan, create a master transportation plan, and pursue future corridor planning opportunities in key areas.
Envision Littleton has been a very robust community engagement effort over the summer. The survey results combined with insights from other engagement methods provide a solid foundation for this draft vision and guiding principles. A similar presentation and discussion with planning commission was held on October 8, 2018.

NEXT STEPS:
After the study session, the draft vision and guiding principles will be posted on EnvisionLittleton.org and staff will continue promoting open house events at existing community gatherings and when requested by members of the community over the next three weeks. The most up-to-date calendar will always be found at EnvisionLittleton.org.

From there a final draft of the vision will be created. It will be formally presented to planning...
