REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION:
Does city council support pursuing the concept of a next generation advisory committee?
BACKGROUND:
The possibility of a Littleton Next Generation Advisory Committee was discussed at the March 27, 2018 study session. Council gave direction to bring back key people from the proposed group and have a conversation focusing on what they want, how they want it, how to provide it, and what that might look like.
The original council communication and draft by-laws are attached.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
This is an informational presentation and staff requests council make a determination on whether or not they are interested in pursuing this and if so, provide direction on what they would prefer.
OPTIONS/ALTERNATIVES:
Ask staff to work on details of a next generation advisory committee, given guidance from this study session, and bring additional formation information back to council.
Do not pursue this committee at this time.
