POLICY QUESTION:
Does council support the appointment of Channing O’Dell to the Highline Business Improvement District Board of Directors?
STAFF ANALYSIS:
Colorado statute and the district’s operating plan require that city council appoint the members of the board of directors for the district. The district has submitted a request for the appointment of Channing O’Dell to fill the recent vacancy.
As noted on the attached Designation of Elector form Mr. O’Dell was designated by MIE Business Center at the Ridge at South p0ark Maintenance Association, an owner of taxable property in the district. Mr. O’Dell is a registered voter in Colorado, and as such, is qualified to be appointed as a board member to the Highline Business Improvement District.
