REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION:

This presentation is an update for Council on the 2018 Capital Construction Program and partial funding of the program with voter approved TABOR funds.

 

BACKGROUND:

This presentation will give an overview of the 2018 Capital Construction Program including pavement preservation plans and techniques. Staff will review with City Council the 2018 plan list and street segments projected for completion in this construction season. The presentation will also include a review of the neighborhood communications strategies during program implementation and the web tools planned for use during the season. Staff will also include a comparison of how Littleton fares compared to other municipalities in Colorado on pavement preservation funding and capital expenditures.

TABOR funding discussions in 2017.

 

STAFF ANALYSIS:

This is an update and overview of the 2018 program and provides a platform for discussions of future City of Littleton funding for infrastructure.

 

OPTIONS/ALTERNATIVES:

None

 

FISCAL IMPACTS:

The total budget for 2018 streets, signs, and signals funding is $4,781,610. There is no utility fund (Sewer, Stormwater) funding included in this total.
