SUMMARY: A joint study session with staff from the Denver Regional Council of Governments on the draft Metro Vision plan.
BACKGROUND: The Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) Board of Directors recently released the updated draft Metro Vision plan for public review and comment. For nearly two decades the Metro Vision plan has recognized that achievement of the greater Denver region's shared vision requires varied and coordinated contributions from communities across the region. Metro Vision does not replace local visions and plans, but rather serves as a framework for addressing common issues.
Staff from DRCOG will provide planning board with an overview of the draft plan. The draft plan was shaped by numerous efforts to engage DRCOG's many local planning partners, including surveys, advisory committees, focus groups and Metro Vision Idea Exchanges.
