POLICY QUESTION:
 
Does city council supportthe City of Littleton entering into an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with Littleton Public Schools (LPS) for playground improvements and joint use of playground facilities at Centennial School of Fine Arts?
 
BACKGROUND:
 
As a part of the 2014 budget, the city council approved an appropriation of $50,000 for updating the playground at Centennial School of Fine Arts. The playground will be available to the public when school is not in session.
 
STAFF ANALYSIS:
 
This project is included in the 2014 budget and an IGA is required.
 
FISCAL IMPACTS:
 
The money for this project is allocated in the Open Space Fund.
 
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
 
Staff recommends approval of the resolution authorizing the IGA.
