PURPOSE:
To approve an Intergovernmental Joint Cooperation Agreement between Arapahoe County, the Cities of Centennial, Englewood, Glendale, Greenwood Village, Littleton, Sheridan, and the Town of Deer Trail to continue participation in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and HOME Investment Partnerships Program.

DISCUSSION:
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) makes funds available for specific community development projects through CDBG and HOME Investment Partnerships programs. The City of Littleton does not qualify for entitlement funds through these programs but has the option of participating in the programs through an intergovernmental joint cooperation agreement (IJCA) executed every three years with Arapahoe County, the Cities of Centennial, Englewood, Glendale, Greenwood Village, Littleton, Sheridan, and the Town of Deer Trail. The proposed IJCA contains the terms and conditions for Littleton's participation in the program for the grant years. Littleton shall be included as part of urban Arapahoe County's HOME consortium for qualification and grant calculation purposes upon the qualification by HUD of the County to receive CDBG and HOME Program entitlements as an Urban County and HOME consortium for the next three successive Program Years/Federal fiscal years from October 1, 2025, thro...
