PURPOSE:
The city contracted with CareATC (previously OnSite Care) for City of Littleton employee clinic services from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2025. We are seeking a one-year extension through a contract amendment for January 1 - December 31, 2026. Estimated costs are $798,968 based on projected usage and are subject to claims data.

DISCUSSION:
City of Littleton employees and their dependents are eligible for services through the employee clinic at no or low cost if they are enrolled in the City's medical insurance plan.

Clinical services include:
* Primary care services
* On-site episodic care
* In person and telemedicine appointments
* Care and/or referral of chronic conditions
* On-site lab testing
* Prescription medications
* Annual wellness exams

Operational and Administrative services include:
* Overall clinic management
* Provider staffing
* Care management of patients
* OSHA/HIPPA compliance
* Waste handling and disposal

BACKGROUND:
The City of Littleton currently partners with Phil Long Ford to rent employee clinic space at Buck Recreation Center. The employee clinic is offered to employees and dependents who opt into the medical insurance plan. Clinic services promote health and wellness, recruitment, and retention for the city. Clinic utilization has averaged more than 85% over the past 2 years, being cited as one of the most valued benefits offered to city employees. Usage of the clinic diverts claim costs from the City's medical plan, saving the city and plan participants money. The estimated Return on Investment (ROI) for 2023 was $671,034.
