PURPOSE:
Staff is seeking to inform the Planning Commission of the process for reviewing transportation impacts associated with developments.

DISCUSSION:
Staff will provide a presentation focusing on the methodology of how development reviews are conducted pertaining to transportation impacts.
BACKGROUND:
The Planning Commission has recently reviewed several developments that have required traffic impact studies and have had several questions regarding how traffic impact studies are reviewed. The Planning Commission has indicated their interest in obtaining greater knowledge on the topic resulting in this study session. The attached presentation that will be provided during the January 13, 2025 meeting will focus on the various types of traffic documents, when they are applicable, and how city staff reviews them.
