PURPOSE:
Planning commission review and recommendation to city council for revisions to Title 10, the Unified Land Use Code (ULUC) related to Electric Vehicle Charging.

DISCUSSION:
Considering the continuation of PC Resolution 12-2025 regarding Electric Vehicle Charging.
BACKGROUND:
The State of Colorado has adopted House Bill24-1173 EV Charging Permitting. A component of this bill was an EV Charging Model Code, which the State provided options to comply with. Staff has selected the option of updating the ULUC to comply with the document. Staff drafted a text amendment to the ULUC and is working with the State's consultants to revise that document. Unfortunately, that coordination with the State's consultant is not in a place to be shared and acted upon at this time. Additionally, the City Council has provided feedback on a Fuel Sales (Retail) text amendment. Staff would like to discuss both of these items at the same meetings as they do relate to one another and is therefore asking that this item be continued to the January 26, 2026 Planning Commission Meeting.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends continuing the public hearing of PC Resolution 12-2025 regarding Electric Vehicle Charging to a date certain of January 26, 2026.
ALTERNATIVES:
The planning commission may choose to select a different date certain to take up the code amendment.
