DISCUSSION:
The 2024 City Council retreat identified further study of Littleton Boulevard as a priority. Staff developed a project scope during summer 2024 based on feedback from a City Council study session on May 24, 2024 and put out a request for proposals (RFP) in November of 2024. The City received nine proposal submittals from firms based both locally in the Denver metro area and nationally by the January 2025 deadline. Staff reviewed the nine proposals received and delivered their scoring and comments to the Procurement Manager. The four highest scoring teams were then invited for in-person interviews in March 2025. Of those four teams interviewed, Dig Studio, Inc. was the highest scoring.
Execution of this contract would authorize consultant planning services on the Littleton Boulevard Subarea Plan Project and would employ all services outlined within the attached proposal at the proposed cost. The project kickoff is anticipated to begin in October 2025 and will continue approximately 18-24 months into 2027.
