PURPOSE:
Does city council support approval of a construction contract with Insituform Technologies, LLC dba C&L Water Solutions for the Belleview and Federal Stormwater Pipe Replacement Project, City Project No. 24-71?

DISCUSSION:
On January 15, 2025, the City of Littleton advertised a Request for Proposals to procure contractor services for the Belleview and Federal Stormwater Pipe Replacement Project, Project No. 24-71. Four proposals were received by the February 13, 2025, deadline. Staff reviewed the proposals based on qualifications, experience, project approach, and pricing. Staff selected Insituform Technologies' proposal as reasonable and the most qualified to successfully complete the project.

Approval and execution of the proposed construction contract with Insituform Technologies, LLC dba C&L Water Solutions would authorize the project to proceed into construction to replace underground storm sewer and associated infrastructure at the Federal Boulevard and Belleview Avenue intersection.

BACKGROUND:
Public Works staff have evaluated and identified areas within the city's storm sewer and storm water infrastructure network that require timely and critical repairs.
