PURPOSE:
To request approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of Littleton and South Suburban Parks and Recreation regarding construction and maintenance of storm sewer on the Mission Viejo Pickleball facility.

DISCUSSION:
South Suburban Parks and Recreation District (SSPRD) is constructing the Mission Viejo Pickleball facility at the southwest corner of County Line Road and Broadway. SSPRD will be replacing and realigning a deteriorated City-owned storm sewer as part of the project. The City will partially compensate SSPRD for the storm sewer work, and the City will be responsible for operation and maintenance of the storm sewer upon completion. The proposed IGA identifies each parties' obligations to the project and long-term operation and maintenance responsibilities.

BACKGROUND:
South Suburban Parks and Recreation District is constructing the Mission Viejo Pickleball facility at the southwest corner of County Line Road and Broadway. The City of Littleton owns and operates a 30-inch corrugated metal pipe storm sewer along the south side of County Line Road which outlets to a swale along Broadway with runoff through the SSPRD property.
