PURPOSE:

The purpose of this item is to discuss the adoption of amendments to the Unified Land Use Code (ULUC) regarding an update to the Tree Canopy Fee and miscellaneous greenscape provisions.

DISCUSSION:

Staff requests a continuation of this public hearing to a date certain to allow additional time for staff and consultant review of the proposed amendments to the greenscape provisions, including the Tree Canopy Fee.

 

BACKGROUND:

Staff prepared a presentation on July 14th, 2025, for proposed amendments to the greenscape provisions of the ULUC. Based on direction from the commissioners, Staff is requesting a continuation of this public hearing to a date certain to allow additional time for staff and consultant review of the direction, as well as proposed amendments.
