PURPOSE:
Council consideration of the City of Littleton, Colorado, as the governing body of the City of Littleton, Stormwater and Flood Management Utility Enterprise, adopting the 2025 budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2025, and ending December 31, 2025.

DISCUSSION:
As the governing body of the Littleton Stormwater and Flood Management Utility Enterprise, the city council is required to adopt a budget for this fund. Revenue in this fund is derived from fees charged to landowners within the city limits. Expenditures from this fund include the costs for operations and various storm drainage capital projects. To fund necessary capital improvements, system repairs, and replacements, a fee increase of 5% is recommended for 2025 and will be presented at the December 3, 2024, council meeting for consideration.

BACKGROUND:
The Littleton Stormwater and Flood Management Utility Enterprise fund accounts for construction and maintenance of storm sewer facilities and detention ponds within the city limits.

Prior Actions or Discussions
Council reviewed the 2025 Proposed Budget during study sessions held on September 7 and October 8, 2024.

FISCAL IMPACTS:
This ordinance will establish a 2025 budget for the Stormwater and Flood Management Utility Enterprise fund at $3,517,853.
