POLICY QUESTION:
Does city council support providing administrative, public communication and financial services to Littleton Invests for Tomorrow (LIFT)?
BACKGROUND:
In 2014, the city agreed to provide LIFT with storage space, printing services, meeting space and use of the city's bulletin board, website and mailboxes. LIFT is in need of additional services for its day-to-day operations.
STAFF ANALYSIS:
Under the terms of the proposed agreement, the city will provide accounting and public communication services to LIFT. These services will include answering public inquiries, assisting with meeting coordination, maintaining account records, preparing financial statements, budgeting and filing tax reports.
FISCAL IMPACTS:
Minimal staff time is anticipated to provide the proposed services.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
City staff support approval of the agreement.
