PURPOSE:
Public Works and the Littleton Museum is seeking Council approval to award a contract to Tryg Group, LLC to replace the Museum's mechanical systems. This project will address climate control and operational problems caused by the current aging system.

DISCUSSION:
The Littleton Museum, partnering with Public Works and Finance, advertised a Request for Proposals to procure contractors services for the mechanical replacement project on August 12, 2025. Staff reviewed four proposals for qualifications, experience, schedule, and approach. Staff has selected Tryg Group's proposal due to their understanding of the project, qualifications, and reasonable pricing in relation to other proposals received.

The approval of this contract with Tryg Group, LLC would authorize the project to proceed for the replacement of critical equipment, extending the operational life of the building and ensuring that the Museum continues to meet the professional standards and best practices required for accreditation.

BACKGROUND:
The Museum is a beloved community institution for Littleton's citizens. In 2024, the Museum had 118,232 in-person visits, most are from Littleton and the immediate area, from the seven-county Denver Metro area, and within a 100-mile radius up and down the Front Range and into the Rocky Mountains and Eastern plains.
