BACKGROUND:

At the August 26th meeting, the commissioners indicated a desire for additional study sessions and to discuss a possible work plan.  In response to that discussion, staff is proposing focusing the first meeting of the month on study sessions.  The second meeting of the month would be utilized in the event that there is a quasi-judicial item to review.  Quasi-judicial items would be eligible for either the first or second meeting of the month.

Another comment that staff heard at the August meeting was a desire to understand city council ‘s priorities.  In response, a review of Littleton’s City Council’s Strategic Plan by the city manager’s office will be precede this agenda item.  Moving forward, staff would propose a new work-plan at the end of the six-month period to focus on additional study session items.
