PURPOSE:

This is the annual update provided by the Presiding Judge of Littleton Municipal Court.

 

LONG-TERM OUTCOME(S) SERVED:

Safe Community; High-Quality Governance

 

DISCUSSION:

The Municipal Court will provide an update on 2025 accomplishments and the first year of appointment of Judge Amanda Lessmann. The court will introduce Ability to Pay and potential expanded outcomes.

 

BACKGROUND:

The court continues to focus on user experience and access to justice through accessibility, ease of use, and pathways to success. The court partnerships with Englewood Municipal Court Restorative Justice, mediation, and outreach has seen success and was expanded to introduce Ability to Pay outcomes introduced by participation in an expanded training by the Fines and Fees Justice Center and Results 4 America.
