LONG-TERM OUTCOME(S) SERVED:
Vibrant Community with a Rich Culture; High-Quality Governance; Robust and Resilient Economy
DISCUSSION:
During Q3, we continued to build on progress made over the past year through stronger cross-team collaboration, improved operational efficiency, and more coordinated communications across City departments and channels. Our work has increasingly centered on proactive project communications, clear and consistent message frameworks, and delivering timely, accessible information that helps residents understand City services, initiatives, and decisions.
Looking ahead to Q4, we will build on this momentum by refining our approach based on what we have learned, strengthening proactive communications around key City priorities, and continuing to elevate Littleton’s story. This includes connecting residents with the information and opportunities they need, supporting community and economic vitality, and measuring communications not only by reach, but by engagement, understanding, and impact.
This Q3 and Q4 update highlights the progress made to date, the insights shaping our work, and the priorities that will guide the Communications Department through the remainder of 2026 and into 2027 helping create a more connected, informed, and engaged Littleton community.
BACKGROUND:
The Communications Department plays a critical role in serving the Littleton community and advancing the organization’s mission and Horizon 2027 strategic goals. As we move through the third quarter of 2026, our focus has been on putting the 2026 Communications Plan into action-strengthening storytelling, increasing transparency, and creating more meaningful opportunities for community engagement.
