PURPOSE:
Staff update and overview of the 2026 Communications Plan, Visit Littleton, and 2026 Event Schedule. An update on current and upcoming workplan highlights, a look at the current Visit Littleton program and upcoming city sponsored events.

DISCUSSION:
The Communications Department plays a critical role in serving the community and advancing the organization’s mission and Horizon 2027 strategic goals. In 2026, our work is focused on implementing a coordinated Communications Plan that strengthens storytelling, increases transparency, and expands meaningful community engagement. Building on progress over the past year, including stronger cross-team collaboration, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced service delivery, we are prioritizing clear message frameworks, proactive project communications, and consistent outreach across multiple channels. This overview highlights where the Communications Department is today and how our 2026 priorities are shaping a more connected, informed, and engaged Littleton community.

The Communications Department plays a vital role in advancing Council’s priorities by ensuring clear, consistent, and accessible information for the community.
